This is how they do it in Chicago

Jim Cornelison sang the national anthem at today's Bears playoff game, and the crowd went absolutely crazy, cheering and singing along like they do at the Blackhawks games where he sings regularly. Since this game was broadcast on national TV, instantly Twitter was abuzz with people either saying “Awesome!” or criticizing the crowd for not being quiet and respectful. I can't call the latter folks haters, because I think they just don't know that in Chicago you go crazy and cheer for your anthem when Cornelison sings. It's a great Blackhawks tradition that stretches back more than 20 years.
