The little moments in life

If you get to the coliseum early enough, you can sometimes see players from both teams still doing stretches and other warmups outside the locker rooms. Tonight as I was walking past the Evansville locker room, across the hallway in the open space a player was hitting a plastic ball back and forth with about three young Komets fans who had their own miniature sticks with them. The kids were probably four or five, if that old. It was one of those moments where if you ever needed to be reminded why hockey players are the best, this was it.
